As we wind our way past Wray Castle and Blenheim Tarn, we take in views over Lake Windermere en route to Hawkshead. Enjoy exploring this charming medieval village, overlooked by its beautiful church. Learn of the villages' Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter connections. We will discover more about Beatrix Potter as we visit the gem that is Tarn Hows, part of her legacy to the National Trust. Continuing on, we skirt around the shores of Coniston Water before winding our way through the lush green valleys of the Langdales. Along narrow roads, we pass white washed farm houses and glistening tarns, which lead us to the mighty Langdale Pikes. Our journey home takes us past Grasmere and Thirlmere on to Keswick.
